ExitRight Privacy Policy

ExitRight is a Shopify app that helps merchants provide and document an online withdrawal workflow. The app processes only the data needed to receive a withdrawal statement, acknowledge it, and maintain an audit record.

Information processed

Shopify store domain and OAuth/session information needed to operate the app.
Customer name and email submitted through the withdrawal form.
Order or contract reference and order date supplied by the customer.
Withdrawal submission time, acknowledgement reference, status, and acknowledgement-email delivery status.

How information is used

Data is used to record withdrawal requests, calculate the configured withdrawal window, provide merchant audit history, send acknowledgement messages, and operate the Shopify app. We do not sell customer or merchant personal information.

Shopify privacy requests

ExitRight implements Shopify privacy-compliance webhooks. Customer data requests return the withdrawal records associated with the supplied customer identifier when available. Customer-redaction requests delete matching stored withdrawal records. Shop-redaction and uninstall events delete shop-owned ExitRight records and sessions.

Retention and security

Withdrawal records are retained only as needed for the merchant's operational and legal recordkeeping requirements. Access is restricted to the installed merchant and the app's service infrastructure. Merchants remain responsible for selecting retention periods appropriate to their business and applicable law.
